生詞在上下文中不是孤立的，作者一般會(huì )通過(guò)上下文給出意思相近的詞語(yǔ)或者暗示、線(xiàn)索，讓讀者利用上下文熟悉的詞語(yǔ)或語(yǔ)境理解這些詞的詞義。

準確把握詞義方法

定義法

文章作者對較難、較偏、較生疏的詞或專(zhuān)業(yè)化的詞，一般會(huì )采用解釋或下定義的方法給讀者進(jìn)行解釋說(shuō)明。而定義的用詞是讀者比較熟悉的、較為常見(jiàn)的。定義一般由破折號、逗號或括號引出。

In a theater, or a film or television studio, the set is the scenery built to resemble a real location. It is made by carpenters and other workers, and painted and decorated to look like a real room or whatever location is required for the production. A film studio may build a set outdoors to resemble a whole street or even a small town.
